Lord knows there aren't many things that President Designate Joe Biden has done correctly. In fact, he should be known as the Anti-Midas because just about every golden opportunity he's been given, he's turned into fool's gold. For example, he has taken a southern border that was under control into a calamitous human tragedy. He has completely capitulated to the Left's obsessions over gun control and confiscations, even if their positions are nonsensical. He has bumblingly called Vladimir Putin a murderer, thawing American relations with Russia while ignoring the colossal threat that is China. He has fallen prey to the Left's deranged solutions for race relations in our country by fostering the politicalization of a trial that should have only been the objective assessment of a police officer's conduct in detaining a known, intoxicated criminal. He has strengthened one of the strongest destabilizers of America's healthcare system, Obamacare, and has insisted on running up trillions of dollars of debt when what he should be doing is jumpstarting the economy. And he is now planning on dousing whatever flame there may be for that economy with fire retardant by threatening to raise taxes, and not just modestly.
But finally, it appears that the President Designate has gotten one correctly. On Wednesday, The Wall Street Journal reported that President Designate Joe Biden was preparing to declare the early 20th century massacres of Armenians by the Ottoman Empire genocide. The action would represent a strong statement by the United States that it will not tolerate the atrocities undertaken to religious-ethnic groups, nor will it sugarcoat the manner in which such gross injustices are perceived.
Sadly, the plight of the Armenian Christians at the hands of the Ottoman Turks has been all but erased from the public's eye, particularly in the United States. . .
